Ranger Nate: Born and raised in Orem, UT. Worked at Recreation Outlet in American Fork. Became a Visitor Use Assistant in the American Fork Canyon Rec area for the National Park Service. Transferred to the Forest Service as a Forestry Technician (Wilderness/Trails) for 7 summers. Taught cross country skiing, etc. at the Sundance Nordic Center for 6 winters. Internship as a Park Guide at Timpanogos Cave NM. Graduated from UVU with a degree in Outdoor Rec Management in 2016. Taught Backpacking as an Adjunct Instructor at UVU. Continue to explore in the Wasatch Mountains when I can.
